Rosh Hashanah 2017 starts at sundown today, Wednesday, Sept. 20 and will last through the end of the evening of Friday, Sept. 22. Rosh Hashanah celebrates the start of the Jewish new year according to the Jewish calendar. "Shanah Tovah" is the appropriate greetings for the holiday.
At Stanford Health Care Market Square Cafe, we celebrates the festivity by offering fresh baked honey loaf cake and the popular tradition of Apple with Honey. Honey signifies hope for a "sweet" new year.
