The 6th Annual Healthy Steps Wellness Fair was
held on April 27th in the Atrium for Stanford Health Care and Stanford
Children’s Health employees. “Wellness Your Way” was the theme for the
event. Many wellness partners hosted tables to share ways to improve
health through information, services, samples and conversations.
It is estimated that 3,000 employees/participants were in
attendance. The Stanford Food Service department showcased the Market
Square Café with a bright multifaceted presentation of healthy options offered
in our café as well as participants were able to enjoy samples of our soba
salads lightly dressed. Chef Phillip Keefe CEC (Executive Chef), Carol
Capozza, MS, RD (Patient Services Operations Manager). Vallery Armas (Dietetic
Assistant) and Andrea Nuyda supported the event from Food Service.
