Market Square Cafe Grand Re-opening at Stanford Health Care on January 24,2017

Market Square Cafe at Stanford Health Care recently celebrated a grand re-opening on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 after underwent an extensive renovation from July to December 2016. The renovations includes an enhancement on the overall layout and space efficiency, updated food stations featuring Local fare, Global fare, Soup, Salad bar, Grill, an express Grab-N-Go lane, Coffee and pastry stations and an enhanceed register locations. An exciting Farm Fresh Market featuring locally sourced and organic selections were also introduced.

Congratulations to the Food services team led by Ted Weirich, Director of Food and Nutrition and Chef Phillip Keefe, Executive Chef at Stanford Health Care for a successful grand re-opening. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

The Patient Equipment Management Solutions (PEMS) team will be celebrating 600 injury free days this Sunday, February 5, 2017

Congratulations to the Sodexo Patient Equipment Management Solutions (PEMS) team for keeping the workplace safe. This Sunday, February 5, 2017, the team will be celebrating 600 injury free days. They are our superbowl champion when it comes to safety. 


The PEMS team contribute the sucess to good communication, teamwork and staying focus on the job. The team also believes it is everyone's responsibility to keeping the workplace safe. When we have a safe culture, it also contribute to Patient Safety.


In conjunction with the celebration, I had invited Tiffany from Patient Transport, Jon F from PEMS, Willie from the Environmental Services department, Sam from the Environmental Services and Peter from PEMS to let us know how they contribute to Patient Safety.
